Overview of Selected Technical Standards for Distribution Design

In the published List of Czech Technical Standards, ČSN for electrical equipment are classified into classes 33 to 38 and these are further divided into groups:

  • 33 ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING – ELECTROTECHNICAL REGULATIONS
  • 34 ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Note: “The Czech technical standard is not generally binding”. It follows that the ČSNs are not considered legal regulations and there is no general obligation to comply with them. This does not mean that such an obligation cannot result from another legal act.
